Case study ~ Extraction

 Most action movies have the typical super heros and fighting. The point in all action movies is just to kill and to battle and other stuff like that. A movie I found similar to mines is "Extraction". Extraction is an Action/Thriller film written and directed by Sam Hargrave, Ande Parks, Joe Russo, and Anthony Russo. The goal throughout the film is to make the audience eager to watch more. This is also my goal for my movie, to make the audience want to watch my movie. The film was produced by Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca, Chris Hemsworth, Eric Gitter, and Peter Schwern. The budget for this movie was 65 million USD. Full financial estimates for this film, including domestic and international box office, video sales, video rentals, TV and ancillary revenue are not available online. Extraction was shot by cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel, ASC, on two main cameras that are similar (RED Monstro 8K and Panavision DXL2). The film was released April 24, 2020 on netflix for 117 minutes in the United States. On August 31, 2018, it Sam Hangrave announced that he would direct Dhaka from a screenplay by Joe Russo. Chris Hemsworth was set to star in the film. November of 2018, the rest of the cast was also set. Production began in Ahmedabad and Mumbai in November 2018. Filming next took place in Ban Pong, Ratchaburi, Thailand and  plate shots in Dhaka, Bangladesh.The actors stayed in Nakhon Pathom. Principal production ended in March 2019. The film's working title was at first "Dhaka" but was later changed to Out of the Fire, before the final title was revealed to be called "Extraction" on February 19, 2020.Henry Jackman and Alex Belcher composed the film score, who worked together in 21 Bridges while the Russo Brothers producing the film. BMG has released the soundtrack. English indie rock band Alt-J's In Cold Blood was used for the official trailer.​

Casting Considerations and Choices

 Okay let's be real.. if you were shooting a movie, you would want the most known celeberties to be in it. But sometimes that's not always possible. If I can pick any celebrity to be in my movie it would definitley be Micheal B Jordan as Mighty Mighy and maybe Adam Sandler as Fire Frank. And im not really sure who would actually be Bill (The boss). But in reality I have Keiron as Mighty Mike and Isaiah as Fire Frank but if I would have to be in the movie, I would have to change Bill's character to a female so I can be her and be able to be in the movie. I would love for more of my friends to be in the movie to make it more fun and entertaining since my movie is an action movie and action movies are supposed to look fun and entertaining and make it want veiwers to want more parts to my movie. Hopefully my movie would look very entertaining and my cast choices would make it interesting to watch.

Okay..the plot

 Sooo.. most horror movies all have really cool names.. so what about mines??  Heres some options.. 1. The sleepover 2. Where has all the kids gone 3. The girl For my movie title i'm trying to not go for the usual "haunted house" or something with "monster" in it. I've decided that I wanted a title that no one would ever think of. Let's go through the options again. "The sleepover".. For that title I was thinking like a group of friends that go have fun but something happens unexpectedly. Too boring.. "Where has all the kids gone".. Sounds like something true and very scary.. Like scary too the point where no one can ever finish the movie.. Not what im going for. And lastly "The girl".. Good title.. but its almost too predictable about what actually going to happen in the movie. You know like that weird girl that turns evil and goes after every one. Nah.. Okay maybe were going to need to look for some more titles.  Second op
